The Hills Grammar Original Alumni Award was first awarded in 2015. In deference to the School’s motto Strive for Excellence, the award recognises years of contribution, commitment and excellence in the life of a past student. 

The award is presented to the recipient at the Annual Presentation of Awards in early December. 

Graduates, parents, friends, family, associates and staff may nominate an alumnus or alumnae.

Eligibility

  • Nominees must be graduates of Hills Grammar
  • Unsuccessful nominees may be re-nominated in future years
  • Self-nominations are accepted
  • Nominations may come from more than one source

Selection criteria

The nominee:
  • Will demonstrate outstanding and original work over some years in her/his field of endeavour  (career, philanthropic work, the arts)
  • May have industry awards or recognition to support the nomination
  • Should agree to be nominated

Selection Process

Graduates, parents, friends, family, associates and staff may nominate a graduate by submitting the nomination form below. Nominations need to be submitted by October 30.

A selection panel will review all nominations and contact both the nominee and nominating person of the successful applicant All other nominating parties will be emailed The announcement will remain confidential until the Presentation of Awards There will certainly be many alumni who are worthy recipients of this award and we will not necessarily be aware of their exceptional contribution to their field of endeavour and/or society.
